The details
- Sit peacefully on the banks of the River Bedalder and watch dippers hunt beneath the water’s surface
- Trees – whether young, old, or dead – provide shelter and food for woodpeckers. In the springtime, listen out for the drumming of these percussion prodigies
- Glimpse the flash of a firecrest in the thicket, hear a chorus of marsh tits, or patiently wait to witness a sparrowhawk race through a woodland clearing
