FROM a FEELING to a SCIENCE: CABILLA is a LIVING LABORATORY

Cabilla is a living laboratory where people can come to study the preventative and curative benefits of nature.

We are committed to researching and proving the positive impact that nature has on our bodies and minds, helping both this and future generations to understand the potential of its healing power.

Live Research Projects

BEAVER DAM, Early Spring 2021

1.

Beavers with benefits — measuring the ecosystem benefits of reintroducing beavers to Bodmin Moor via surveys and data capturing.

2.

Decoding nature’s impact — we are working with Loughborough University to prove the incredible benefits of natural immersion on our physiology and psychology.

3.

Our magical mycelium — we have amazing mycelial fungus in the soil at Cabilla, it’s very rare. Researchers are studying the effects of this on the air quality and health of our woodland, and whether this mycelium could benefit the health of people who spend time in our woods.

IN ALL THINGS of NATURE THERE is SOMETHING of the MARVELLOUS
